The aim of the collaboration between the Hand Wrist Study Group and the Department of Anesthesiology of the Erasmus MC is to improve anesthesiological care during and following surgery. Research projects focus on enhancing safety and quality of the anesthesiological care during surgery, and improving pain management in the postoperative period.
